BAND: Tessmarka

Biografie

With the "energy of the Ramones and the innocence of Ash", Southend-based indie punks Tessmarka have already been labelled "one of the best bands in South Essex" by local music press.

After forming in 2004, a ten-track demo was recorded which resulted in a deal with Colchester-based Rising Records. The quartet will release their debut 6-track mini-album, produced by Mark Daghorn (One Minute Silence, The Dum Dums, Mendeed) in September 2006.

The band's style, varying between punchy, pop-infused punk and full-on in-your-face rock 'n' roll, consistently embraces melody, harmony and the all-important guitar riff.
