BAND: Svartby

Biografie
Born in Autumn 2004, Svartby did a breakout in the Russian folk metal scene. Merry songs that can't keep a single person from dancing and brutal enough for crazy headbanging - the wild black village crew rips into ears and brains and bones from the first time you've heard and seen it.We sing about wild magic creatures living in the forest - witches, goblins, dwarfs - definitely unkind to human folk, but at the same time merry, nature-loving and nice living beings with a good sense of humor
The debuting album, "Kom I Min Kittel" (Come Into My Cauldron) is devoted to the witch tribe of the Black Village - with all their artifacts like brooms, toads, cats, cauldrons, child-eating and, of course, sorcery.
Recording - Phantom Pain Studio, Russia by Igor Anokhin
Mixing - Astia Studio, Finland by Anssi Kippo
Mastering - SonichouseTM, Finland by Teemu Myyryläinen
Welcome to our fire, folks - take a good mug of beer and prepare to sink in a merry forest hurricane!
