Straight up brutal metal with groovy traits. That's what Denmarks The Burning is about.

Attacking their metal with a heaviness unmatched in todays scene, The Burning succesfully mixes modern trash riffs and oldschool Pantera grooves with simple but monstrous song structuring, vicious bass lines and a chrushingly heavy "Back to basics" drumming showcasing just how damaging modern metal music can sound.

Loose, aggressive and very noisy, the band bark out their lyrics using low end deathgrowls and traditional metal/hardcore screams.

Contrary to alot of their peers only one guitar is used in The Burning, forcing the bass forward in the mix having to add both vicious power and paissionate melodies.

Known mostly from the fierce live performances, 2007 will finally see the release of The Burning's first full length "Storm the Walls" out December 7th 2007 on Massacre Records. 12 new brutally heavy songs with superb production done by Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Nightrage, Mercenary and Hatesphere)

No swedish twin guitars, no clean sung choruses, no trendy haircuts... All fire!
