Biography
Saturate is a swedish Metal/Hardcore band. It was formed in year ´99 by the brothers Simon & Daniel Blomberg. Simon on drums & Daniel on Bass. They soon started to play with Johan Palmér as a singer, Rasmus Lundh as guitarist and Joel Rudenstam on Synth. It was now that the "real" band started, in late ´99.
The music was some sort of simple metal. Saturate got quickly their firts gig. After that Rasmus quit the band. And saturate got a new guitarist, Alexander Persson. They had some gigs, and the music where changed with influences from Coal Chamber, Sepultura & Meshuggah. Then Johan quit the band because he wanted to spend more time to his skiing. Instead of take a new member Daniel took the vocals and bass. They had some more gigs and the music had more influences of bands like Skinlab & Machine Head. Before a gig in the summer 2003 Alexander was leaving the band, Saturate had to take a stand-in guitarist that was Simon & Daniels brother, Ulf, singer in the band grace.will.fall Under this time their first demo was started and it was finished in december 2003. Now the band is working on some new songs.
